Hello Beautiful Fringe Flowers

Hello!  Welcome back.  I've got some Fringe Flowers for you today!  I cut the Fringe Flowers from Deco Foiled Toner Paper and layered them with thin foam tape.

I added them to a background that I created so long ago, I don't even remember how I made it...lol!  I did create the lines with a ruler and an embossing tool over a gel print.  When I was organizing my room I came across it I knew I needed to use it.

I popped a tag onto it and then arranged the flowers around the tag.  I added some vines cut from Plush Paper and added a simple sentiment from the Fresh Florals Swag stamp set.

Thanks so much for stopping!  Hope you'll come again soon!

Hello Friend - Rainbow Coffee

Happy Monday!  Today I've got something to hopefully cheer you!

I started by making a foiled coffee bean background by stamping onto a panel with white acrylic paint and once it dried I ran it through my Fuse with some rainbow foil.  This technique as you can tell won't necessarily get you a solid foil, but if you like distressed, it's a great one to try!

I stenciled the sunburst onto the mug from Hug In A Mug and then sprayed it with some Glitter Dust Spray and popped it up onto the background.

I cut the little rainbow from foiled toner paper and added it coming out of the cup.

Finally, I die cut the word bubble and stamped my sentiment onto it.

That's me for today!  I hope you enjoyed it and you'll come again soon.  Thanks so much for stopping!

Bee Thankful

Well hello there!  I've got this one for you today using the Bee from the Bee Kind stamp and die set for a simple design.

I started with a white panel cut with the Stitched Dot Rectangle die and blended some Distress Oxide Inks through the Honeycomb stencil.  I started with the lighter and then used a detail brush to add a little bit of the darker towards the bottom of each honeycomb shape and then went over it all with the lighter again.

I stamped, die cut and colored the bee (easy peasy) and I was lucky to find the Thankful word die already put together in the perfect colors from a previous project.

That's me for today!  Thanks so much for stopping.  Hope you'll come again soon!

Basket Full of Flowers

Hello!  I have a basketful of flowers for you today!  I'm really feeling the springtime these days and decided to create a bouquet.

When I was trying to decide on a background, I decided... more flowers!  I cut all of my basket fillings from gel print scraps using the Itsy Bitsy Florals dies and arranged them in the basket.

And of course a lady bug from Mini Spring Florals and a fun sentiment from Welcome Spring.

That's me for today!  Hope you enjoyed it and you'll come back soon!

Merry Christmas in March!

Merry Christmas!  JK!  You didn't lose time...but it is the 25th of the month and it's the day some friends and I share Christmas Cards we make each month.  I thought this was a good day to share a Christmas Card here too!

I ink blended the background using the Polka Dot Stencil and masked off diagonally to make it two different colors.  Then cut the poinsettia from cardstock and used some foam tape to give some dimension between the layers.

I framed it with the Photo Frame and added a couple snowflakes.  Finally the Merry from the Merry Christmas die.  I cut it once from glitter paper and twice more from cardstock and stacked them together for dimension.

That's me for today!  You can also join me over on my blog for more Christmas Card inspiration!

Hello Sunshine

Hello Sunshine!  You can bet there is a good possibility I'm drinking coffee while you're reading this...lol.

I'm here to remind you that the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Hop is still going on!  You can hop and comment through Friday for lots of chances to win some great prizes!  Start here at the A Jillian Vance Design Blog and enter for a chance to win a $20 gift code to the shop and where you'll find the complete hop list.

For today's card, I cut the coordinating mug die from the Hug In A Mug set from some design paper.  I had half a flower left over from a previous project so I adhered it to the mug and then trimmed it around the edge of it.

I layered some yellow cardstock and then the Polka Dot Backdrop and then popped the cup up over it.

Finally I stamped the sentiment from Sweet Sunflower onto a sentiment strip and trimmed it to 4 1/4" and then cut a strip a little wider and layered them together on the card.

That's me for today!  Don't forget to head on over and hop!

Thanks for stopping!  Come again soon!
